As part of Greenleaf's ongoing work with Tchefuncta Country Club, the clubhouse renovation updated key interior spaces to better support member gatherings, meetings, dining, and everyday use while maintaining the established character of the club.
The design balances traditional and contemporary elements throughout the clubhouse. Multiple seating arrangements create opportunities for both small-group conversation and larger gatherings, while a dedicated hallway provides space for rotating artwork and potential exhibitions by local artists.
The main gathering areas incorporate warm wood-grain flooring, creamy white walls with traditional trim, bold accent ceilings, and statement lighting. These elements create a consistent interior language while allowing individual rooms to take on their own character.
The Founders' Room was designed as a more intimate setting for formal meetings, dinners, and private events. Dark gray walls, black accents, brass chandeliers, a large table seating up to 14 guests, and additional perimeter lounge seating give the room a distinct identity while maintaining a clear relationship to the rest of the clubhouse.
The completed renovation refreshed the clubhouse's primary gathering spaces and established a design direction that can continue to inform future improvements throughout Tchefuncta Country Club.
