TerraBella Village, a Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) in Covington, Louisiana, tasked Greenleaf Architects with designing a community amenity that would serve residents while maintaining flexibility for multiple uses. The goal was to create a functional and inviting space that seamlessly integrated with the neighborhood’s architectural character.
Following TerraBella’s established design guidelines, the amenity was designed to accommodate both leisure and competitive swimming while remaining mindful of the project budget. The final plan features a resident pool, landscaped gardens, and an adjacent open-air pavilion, creating a gathering space that enhances the community’s outdoor lifestyle. Completed in Summer 2018, the amenity reflects the TND philosophy of blending recreation, community, and thoughtful design within a cohesive neighborhood environment.
