What began as a long-held vision for a neighborhood market is now taking shape at The Village at Money Hill. Greenleaf is providing architectural services and finish selections for The Hill Market, a new 5,080-square-foot specialty market designed to bring everyday convenience and fresh food options to a rural part of St. Tammany Parish.
The market is planned as a small neighborhood grocery and specialty food destination offering fresh pastries, prepared foods, premium cuts, grocery essentials, curated wines, local products, and regional favorites. While located within The Village at Money Hill, the project is intended to serve the broader Bush and Highway 21 community rather than function solely as an amenity for Money Hill residents.
The new building is designed around a straightforward and approachable shopping experience, giving nearby residents access to everyday goods and prepared food without requiring a longer trip into more developed areas of the parish. Its location along Highway 21 also allows the market to serve surrounding neighborhoods and visitors traveling through the area.
Now under construction, The Hill Market will add a community-focused retail destination to The Village at Money Hill while providing a much-needed convenience for residents throughout the surrounding rural area.
